Twitter

Joan Krenning, the founder and CEO of DesignWraps Brands, a proud Made in the USA manufacturer of quality headwraps, is heading across the United States on a 36-month motorcycle freedom tour of America starting in April at Arizona Bike Week. Joan not only wants to drum up sales for DesignWraps Brands, but also to promote all American Made products. Krenning’s ride across America, called the “Glory US-A Freedom Ride”, will also raise funds for two charities, the “Wounded Warrior Project” and Laura Klock’s “Helping with Horsepower”. Joan has set her sights high and expects to ride 60,000 miles in 2013, stopping at over 200 Harley-Davidson Dealerships along the way. By the end of her journey, Joan will have hit every Harley dealer, approximately 700 located here in the United States and will have traveled over 200,000 miles.

Joan will be riding a 2013 Harley-Davidson Street Glide appropriately named “The Freedom Glide” wrapped with graphics designed by Red Phoenix Marketing. Part of the bikes paint scheme is the words that are straight from the Bill of Rights. This tricked out custom Street Glide is decked out with custom aftermarket parts provided by her sponsors: Klock Werks, Ride Wright Wheels, J&P Cycles, Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, Yaffe’s Bagger Nation, MGS Custom Bikes, Danny Gray Seats, Roaring Toyz, Wire Plus Electronics and Saddleman. “Lady Road Dog”, as she’s known by her riding buddies, also has several apparel sponsors and a complete list of products she’s using and sponsors can be found on Lady Road Dog’s blog... http://ladyroaddog.com

The Freedom Glide features parts made only in the USA and Joan only wears riding apparel made here in the states. Joan hopes to encourage Americans to buy American products and knows this ride will embed images of the USA products of her sponsored items through her testament, blog, and marketing efforts into the minds of the people she meets along her journey.

Joan’s passion and love for giving back has been the vision for her newly formed Wraps of Hope Foundation. She plans to raise $$$ and support for the believe.helping.hands movement, the believe.in.freedom movement and the believe.off.the.streets movement, which are all part of the wraps of hope foundation. “A small portion of every product sold by DesignWraps Brands will go directly into the Wraps of Hope Foundation bank account…this guarantees that the money raised by the Freedom Ride will be donated directly to the charities”, Lady Road Dog stated.

Joan has already been invited to make special appearances at several Harley-Davidson dealers to appear at their open houses, meet with the local HOG chapters, put on seminars about her ride, etc. Joan will be in Loveland, CO on May 3rd for Global International Female Ride Day and invites all riders to join her. Watch her blog for a complete schedule on Joan’s incredible 3 year trek. Lady Road Dog will be happy to consider all promotional appearances…please email request to ladyroaddog@gmail.com. There’s already talk of a reality show being interested in her story and who knows…she just may be the next big thing since Jesse James.

Joan believes that by manufacturing in the USA, she creates a value for the consumer that also benefits America through well-paying jobs for Americans. Under the DesignWraps USA umbrella of companies, there are 3 different brands: RidersWraps…head wraps, headbands and beanies made for the serious rider. Savvy Threads…reality sized women’s motorcycle apparel designed in misses sizing and embellished with rhinestone motifs that coordinate with Wraps of Hope… the most functional, flattering headwrap in the entire market of headwraps for women. Wraps of Hope appeal to both women in the motorcycle culture as well as those suffering from hair lose due to illness. Although DesignWraps primary market has always been Harley-Davidson riders, their customer base now ranges from bikers and construction workers to chemo-patients, children and babies.
